Dah-feated

About 4 months ago, Hyundai announced that they'd be giving away a car to whoever could make the most kick-ass montage of their flagship sports car (in pixel format). That seemed pretty simple, as that sounds like something I've done before.

Fast forward to March, and I come to find out that Hyundai isn't looking for the most commercially viable montage, but rather one that looks like it was directed by some guy who works at a Scion dealership who would rather drive his xD anyway.

While losing sucks, I don't think this contest amounted any measure of public relations success for Hyundai either. All that time and money sunk into the contest by "other H" and the various participants, and all it did was pay off some kid's Yaris.
