About Me

My name is Nate Kharrl. As you can tell, I'm crazy about racing and cars, and a little crazy in general. I live in Orlando, Florida. Although I'm a writer, things I've learned in my bah-zillion personal endeavors, like this site, give me opportunities to work in front and behind a video camera, in a PHP template, on Photoshop, and in CSS files.

In my life, I've made pizzas, worked on modified cars, worked on regular cars, driven fork lifts, telemarketed, paralegal'd, designed custom building projects, and designed kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms, and bedrooms. For all I know, I could be captain of a shrimping boat next month.

Although I've been in Florida since 2004, I haven't really clicked with many people here. It's tough to find motivated people who don't fall into the southern, self-involved cliché.

I love my Toyota MR-S. I wanted one since they were released in 2000, and I've owned mine for two years now. On quiet nights, I find areas of East Orlando where I can have a little fun. I drift the shit out of this mid-engine car, which is made even more unusual because I do things that make sense in all of the other parts of my life. I autocross every chance I get.

I live with Tina, my girlfriend of 5 years, in a townhouse east of Union Park. We jog, play tennis, and toss a basketball around to stay sexy. Mostly she stays sexy, I just get sweaty and red in the face. My family lives back home in California, and I regrettably never get to see them. While I'll always miss the west coast, I have a ton of good things going on for me right now in Orlando. As soon as someone offers me a job out there that pays in yachts, consider me gone.
